- Open Settings… from the menu bar item if you want to review shortcut preferences, visible app count, or Work Loops.
App Review quick path
- Launch Loopset from the Applications folder.
- Confirm Loopset runs as a menu bar utility and does not present a standard Dock-first app workflow.
- Open Settings… from the menu bar item.
- Open Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, or Support from either the menu bar menu or Settings.
- Hold Option and tap Tab, then release Option to switch between running apps.
- Optionally enable cursor-adjacent placement or Work Loops in Settings and verify that switching stays aligned with the display you are working on.
Troubleshooting
Loopset does not respond to the shortcut
Verify that Option+Tab is not assigned to another global system action or overridden by a keyboard utility.
Loopset opens but does not switch apps
Make sure the target app is already running. Loopset switches between running macOS apps and can optionally scope switching through Work Loops.
You want to change how Loopset behaves
Use the menu bar app's Settings window to change the app count, placement mode, and Work Loop behavior.
The switcher appears on the wrong display
Open Settings… and enable cursor-adjacent placement if you want Loopset to present the switcher near your pointer on multi-monitor setups.
The legal or support pages do not open
Loopset opens Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Support in your default browser. Confirm your Mac can open external links from menu bar apps.
